The Toy Fox Terrier
A truly "All American" breed, the Toy Fox Terrier is a big dog in a small package. They possess the intelligence and courage of a terrier, combined with the loving devotion of a toy breed.
Temperament
The Toy Fox Terrier is highly intelligent, alert, loyal, and fearless. They are extraordinarily trainable and eager to please. While they are active and playful, they also cherish cuddle time with their owners. They make excellent watchdogs, alerting you to any approaching strangers with their sharp bark.
Physical Traits
- •Size: 8.5 to 11.5 inches at the shoulder.
- •Weight: Typically 3.5 to 7 pounds.
- •Coat: Smooth, short, fine, and glossy. Very low maintenance.
- •Colors: Tri-color, White & Black, White & Tan, or White & Chocolate. The body must be more than 50% white.
- •Ears & Tail: Erect, V-shaped ears and a high-set, docked tail (in countries where permitted).
